H. Beecher Hicks III is an accomplished executive, speaker, and writer. He is currently serving as the President and CEO of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA).
Previously, Henry has served as the President and CEO of the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM). During his tenure at NMAAM he completed the $60mm capital campaign, facilitated the museum design process, led construction, and is now operating the startup museum.
In the tradition of his family legacy, Henry is an sought-after public speaker and skilled writer. He frequently addresses diverse groups keynoting on subjects including entrepreneurship, music and culture, social justice and his personal mantra, Dream Big Then Execute. He has been writing to his blog by that same name for more than a decade, is a periodic contributor to the Nashville Tennessean and other periodicals, and is completing his first book, a memoir entitled Power in the Name, which is expected to be published in 2024.
Henry is a Morehouse man, earning his MBA at UNC Chapel Hill, husband to Crystal, a gifted elementary school teacher, and proud father to two grown sons. He is highly accomplished in bringing people together, whether working in the federal government as a White House Fellow, doing deals as an investment banker, or serving on community and corporate boards.
