Power in the Name
"Coming in 2024"
“Generation IV” centers on men in accomplished families who lead in religion, business, medicine, and policy. Beginning with the family of the author, the book explores how decisions made by H. Beecher Hicks, Sr. impacted the work and contributions of the following generations.
The book’s objective is to provide professional and familial leadership insight from the male perspective, featuring excerpted interviews with men from the Hicks family and with leaders who have crossed into the lives and careers of the author. It explores the leadership and success lessons that fathers pass along to their sons directly, by example, through exposure, and, at times – beginning with their names. From managing money, growing in faith, professional development, service to society, and growing from inevitable missteps.
Altogether, we hope to learn from leaders who provide insights for the book, how and why “There is power in the name.”
